Over the past few years, I have observed the by now Rajib Nandy emerge as sharp multimedia and mobile journalism trainer and able academic, and the ability to combine these professions in a perfect way. His continuous work as a MOJO storyteller has provided the opportunity for Mr. Nandy to experiment and perfect the use of mobile technologies, gadgets, and techniques in terms of information gathering, processing, and distribution.

In Rajib I find a great connection between young journalists and the academic subject of journalism. The initiative taken by the media educators of Bangladesh and India is commendable. He is an icon to our next generation, especially when it comes to using new media technology.

I profoundly like the dreamers, the young generation of journalists. Fortunately one of them is Rajib Nandy. He has been a journalist with me for a long time. Since the beginning of his career in 2008, I was his news editor. He has worked sincerely under my supervision and did so until 2012. I have worked closely with The Daily Samakal, The Kaler Kantho and The Jagaran and also played a role in policymaking. l saw it then and I still see his sense of responsibility towards journalism. I believe there is a big opportunity to learn from him as he is an innovative and dignitary performer of journalism.
