A morning to remember — April 5th, last year. I had the honour of conducting an international workshop at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi.
JNU is more than just a campus—it’s a symbol of academic excellence, critical thinking, and student activism. As someone who had long admired its legacy from across the border, being there in person was a moment of pride and deep personal meaning.
My journey with mobile journalism and new media technologies began during the COVID-19 lockdown, with a small group of curious and passionate students. Over time, this evolved into a cross-border collaboration between Bangladesh and India, focusing on integrating MoJo into academic and institutional practice.
Thank you to the Centre for Media Studies (CMS), JNU, for the kind invitation and warm recognition. I look forward to building more bridges of knowledge and research across South Asia.
